Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist to join our team in Cohasset, MA. This full-time position focuses on creating and maintaining vibrant container gardens, seasonal plantings, and landscaped areas for both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hands-on experience in horticulture, landscaping, or container gardening and enjoys working outdoors in a collaborative environment. This role offers the chance to apply horticultural knowledge, implement creative designs, and help clients achieve beautiful, healthy landscapes throughout Cohasset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain container gardens, planters, and landscape beds across Cohasset properties.
• Select and arrange annuals, perennials, shrubs, and ornamental plants for seasonal displays.
• Perform pruning, fertilization, pest control, and disease management to ensure plant health.
• Conduct routine landscape maintenance, including watering, weeding, and soil care.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to meet design expectations and project goals.
• Monitor plant growth, troubleshoot health issues, and implement effective horticultural solutions.
• Safely operate landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and other outdoor equipment.
• Assist with seasonal planting projects, including spring and fall container installations.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening.
• Knowledge of plant varieties, soil types, fertilization methods, and pest management.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power equipment, and irrigation systems.
• Physically capable of performing outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of landscape design principles is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
