Sales Executive - DELMIA (Manufacturing Solutions)

Role Description & Responsibilities

Dassault Systèmes is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join the DELMIA brand organization. This role focuses on helping manufacturers digitally transform their operations by leveraging DELMIA solutions for production planning, manufacturing execution, supply chain optimization, and digital twin technologies.

The Sales Executive will work closely with customers across several manufacturing industries to identify operational challenges, develop strategic value propositions, and drive new business opportunities that enable smarter, more efficient factories.

Drive New Business Growth

  • This is a quota-carrying role responsible for driving new software revenue and expanding existing accounts. The successful candidate will be accountable for building pipeline, managing complex sales cycles, and achieving annual sales targets.

  • Identify, develop, and close new opportunities for DELMIA manufacturing and supply chain planning solutions

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline within assigned industries or territories

  • Engage with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT leaders to drive business-level discussions and understand business challenges

  • Customer Engagement & Value Selling

  • Articulate the value of digital manufacturing, digital twin, and operational excellence

  • Position DELMIA capabilities across:

  • Manufacturing planning and scheduling

  • Manufacturing execution (MES/MOM)

  • Supply chain and logistics optimization

  • Workforce and production planning

  • Lead discovery workshops and collaborate with technical teams to shape customer solutions

Account Development

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders including:

    • Operations Leaders

    • Manufacturing Leaders

    • Supply chain executives

    • CIO / IT leadership

       

       

  • Expand relationships within strategic accounts and partner ecosystems

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

    • Pre-sales solution consultants

    • Industry experts

    • Marketing and partner teams

  • Support industry events, conferences, and customer engagements

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of enterprise software sales experience

  • Experience selling into manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders

  • Strong consultative selling and business value articulation skills

  • Experience building pipeline and closing large enterprise deals

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with manufacturing technology solutions such as:

    • MES / MOM

    • Production planning and scheduling

    • Supply chain optimization

    • Digital manufacturing

    • Digital twin platforms

       

  • Knowledge of industries such as:

    • Consumer Products and Goods

    • Life Sciences

    • Metals & Mining

  • What Success Looks Like

    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of manufacturing transformation opportunities

    • Successfully position DELMIA as a strategic platform for operational excellence

    • Develop trusted relationships with manufacturing and operations leaders

    • Consistently achieve or exceed annual revenue targets
