Travel Registered Nurse NICU Job

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – NICU for travel assignments . This role involves providing critical care to premature and ill newborns , collaborating with neonatologists, and supporting families through the challenges of neonatal care. The ideal candidate is skilled in neonatal assessments, respiratory support, and advanced life-saving interventions .
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall health status .
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and feedings through tubes or bottles .
- Operate and manage ventilators, incubators, and other NICU equipment .
- Educate and support parents and families on newborn care and bonding.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other NICU staff .
- Document patient progress, treatments, and care plans accurately .
- Travel to various hospitals and NICU units for temporary assignments .
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Level II or III NICU .
- Certifications: BLS, NRP required; STABLE preferred.
- Skills: Expertise in neonatal resuscitation, ventilator management, and family-centered care .
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle emergency situations .
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
