Litigation Attorney - Personal Injury

Pay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an attorney who wants to be in the action and work closely with a high-performing litigation team.

Note: Must have 3+ years of litigation experience and be able to manage cases through the litigation process with strong accountability, organization, and follow-through.

Job Description

• Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Develop and execute litigation strategy in partnership with experienced trial attorneys
• Review and approve pleadings, discovery, motions, settlement agreements, and related legal documents
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements and help drive matters toward favorable resolution
• Conduct jury trials and other key litigation proceedings
• Participate in focus groups and case strategy sessions to improve outcomes
• Work directly with senior leadership and clients throughout the life of each case
• Attend legal education and trial training programs to continue developing high-level litigation skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Strong writing, organization, and case management skills
• Able to stay composed and effective under pressure
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Team-oriented, accountable, and self-motivated
• Personal injury litigation experience is strongly preferred
• Deposition and trial experience is a plus
• Licensed and in good standing, or able to practice in Massachusetts
