About the Role:
Join the vibrant team at Four Seasons Preschool of Mt. Auburn as an Infant/Toddler Teacher, where you will create a nurturing environment for our youngest learners. We are dedicated to fostering curiosity and growth in a safe and engaging setting.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive and social development.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers.
- Observe and assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging exploration and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- EEC Certification for Infant/Toddler
- Prior experience working with toddlers in a preschool setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check
