Paralegal - Construction Claims (In house)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal with expertise in construction claims to support our legal team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, research, and management of construction-related legal claims and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents related to construction claims.
- Conduct research on laws and regulations pertaining to construction and insurance claims.
- Review and summarize case files and legal documents.
- Prepare reports and documentation for legal proceedings and insurance claims.
- Coordinate with clients, insurance representatives, and other professionals involved in construction claims.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation and case management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all legal activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in construction claims or insurance defense.
- Strong understanding of construction law and insurance programs.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
