Senior Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a Contract with a client in Boston, MA. You will deploy and manage Zscaler security capabilities to strengthen cloud and web protection across the enterprise.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Security Engineer Job Responsibilities Include

• Deploying and configuring Zscaler capabilities such as OCR, EDM, IDM, eDLP, ZWA, and policy rules to enhance cloud and web security.
• Operationalizing the Zscaler platform by creating SOPs, supporting triage workflows, and performing incident remediation activities.
• Monitoring security alerts, analyzing events, and coordinating with teams to investigate and resolve Zscaler‑related incidents.
• Participating in use‑case development by gathering requirements, validating outputs, and supporting project-based security initiatives.
• Maintaining platform documentation, updating policies, and ensuring Zscaler configurations align with enterprise security standards.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams and providing clear communication to support security operations and ongoing enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 8–10 years of experience in security operations or cloud/web security, including extensive hands‑on work with the Zscaler platform.
• Proven expertise in deploying and managing Zscaler capabilities such as OCR, EDM, IDM, eDLP, ZWA, along with strong skills in policy development and report creation.
• Demonstrated ability to operationalize the Zscaler environment through SOP creation, triage support, incident remediation, and participation in use‑case development and project delivery.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
