Boston Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02215 – Access top-tier Massachusetts healthcare jobs in one of the nation’s most historic cities.
• Assignment Length: 15 weeks (holiday coverage required)
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool (neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, surgery, oncology, transplant, and more)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2470 - $2540
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed biweekly hours
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour and 8-hour shifts every 4 weeks; days, evenings, nights; every other weekend and holidays required
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: January 3, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Experience in a teaching hospital and Level I trauma center
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Epic EMR proficiency
• Basic computer skills and ability to use web-based healthcare applications
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
• No employment at Beth Israel Lahey Health within the past 6 months
• Flexible schedule availability for rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends

RN Responsibilities

• Float between 15 medical-surgical units, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, oncology, transplant, and more
• Deliver high-quality patient care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1 (days) and 6:1 (nights)
• Perform unit-specific procedures: 12-lead EKGs, lasix gtt, blood transfusions, and telemetry monitoring
• Administer nebulizers and collaborate with respiratory therapists for ventilator management
• Adapt quickly to new units and assignments, sometimes receiving assignments shortly before shift start
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in weekly orientation and adhere to facility policies
