Account Manager

Greener Horizon, an established and growing full-service landscaping company, is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This position has a crucial role in the execution of the high-level of service we provide to our clients and continued company growth. The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. 

Responsibilities:  

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. 

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships 

• Negotiate contracts and contract renewals, ensuring estimates are prepared accurately 

• Conduct job-site inspections on a regular basis 

• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement and enhancements to meet sales goals.  

• Meet face to face with clients at regular intervals; create needed proposals and reports; attend committee and board meetings as needed.  

• Make horticulturally correct recommendations to clients for improvements to their sites. 

• Represent the company in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service. 

Qualifications:  

• Minimum of five years of landscaping management experience.  

• Working knowledge of all aspects of landscape operations: large or small, commercial, or residential. 

• Microsoft Office suite experience. 

• Strong organization and communication skills.  

• Self-motivated and accountable. 

• Ability to excel as an individual and as part of the team.  

• Clean driving record and DOT card. 

• Pass a pre-employment drug test.  

• MCLP Certification Preferred.
