An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled 4th or 5th-year attorney with private equity and M&A experience to join a leading law firm in Boston . The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role will involve working closely with private equity fund and portfolio company clients, supporting key transaction documents, and playing an integral role in client matters in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents.
- Provide ongoing legal support to private equity fund and portfolio company clients on day-to-day matters.
- Take a lead role in client matters, working closely with business teams and senior attorneys.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to provide exceptional service to clients.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in private equity and M&A, with strong drafting and negotiating skills.
- Previous experience working with private equity sponsors is required.
- Excellent academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
- Strong verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment and work collaboratively with clients and team members.

- Salary range: $310,000 - $365,000 (based on experience and location).
