Registered Nurse - up to $50/hr
The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the nursing process for residents under their care. This role involves both direct and indirect patient care, ensuring adherence to nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and individualized care plans. The Registered Nurse promotes teamwork and maintains high-quality resident outcomes through professional communication and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate direct and indirect nursing care for residents, ensuring accurate assessment, timely intervention, and adherence to individualized care plans and facility standards
- Administer medications and treatments precisely and on schedule, documenting all care activities, changes in condition, and updates to medical and nursing plans of care
- Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), promoting compliance with regulatory requirements, safety policies, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to maintain continuity of care, prepare required reports, and ensure all parties are informed of resident status changes
- Respond promptly to resident risk situations, incidents, or allegations of abuse or neglect, taking immediate action and reporting per facility policy to ensure resident safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
