Travel Physical Therapist Job

Healthforce by TLC
Pittsfield, MA
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapist in Massachusetts, Pittsfield, where your clinical expertise and compassionate leadership restore function, reduce pain, and empower patients to reclaim independence. In this role, you’ll evaluate complex musculoskeletal and neurological presentations, design evidence-based, individualized treatment plans, guide functional mobility, and apply advanced manual therapy techniques to accelerate recovery. You’ll partner with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to coordinate care, monitor progress, and adapt interventions to each patient’s goals. Through every patient interaction, you’ll demonstrate the impact of dedicated therapy on daily living, return-to-work potential, and quality of life. This is more than a job; it’s a chance to shape communities by delivering high-quality PT services across diverse settings. Massachusetts offers much beyond the clinic walls, and this opportunity invites you to experience it all—from tranquil mornings in Pittsfield to the dynamic energy of the region’s cultural treasures and outdoor adventures.

Nestled in the Berkshire Hills, Pittsfield blends small-town charm with access to robust healthcare networks, scenic landscapes, and a thriving cultural scene. In this role, you’ll enjoy the appeal of working in a place known for its natural beauty, four-season recreation, and welcoming neighborhoods. The Western Massachusetts backdrop provides easy access to outdoor trails, scenic waterfalls, and parks for therapeutic practice outside traditional clinics, while you’re never far from major urban amenities. If you’re drawn to variety, you’ll benefit from the potential to work in multiple locations across the U.S. within our travel program, expanding your professional horizons while maintaining a central base of support. You’ll gain exposure to different patient populations, facility types, and care models, all while building a nationwide network of colleagues and mentors.

Role specifics and benefits begin with clear, fulfilling responsibilities. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will assess patients, interpret evaluations, and formulate precise treatment plans that align with physician orders and patient goals. Your caseload will span orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehabilitation, with gait and balance retraining, strength conditioning, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and restore function. You’ll implement objective outcome measures, document progress, and communicate with care teams to ensure seamless transitions. You’ll lead patient and family education on home exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention, reinforcing progress between visits. The role offers professional growth within the specialty through exposure to diverse clinical environments, innovative rehab technologies, and mentorship from seasoned therapists. Expect a competitive benefits package that reflects your value: a weekly pay range of $2,386–$2,530, with a bonus opportunity, housing assistance, and extension possibilities. While the guaranteed hours are 0.0, you’ll have structured scheduling and the ability to extend engagements based on facility needs and your preferences, providing continuity and opportunity for deeper impact. You’ll receive comprehensive support from our travel program, including 24/7 assistance for you while you’re on assignment, a safety net that lets you focus on patient care and professional growth. Your Start Date is 03/16/2026, and the program runs for several weeks with options to extend, ensuring you can plan ahead while leaving space for meaningful continuities and new assignments.

We uphold values that matter to today’s clinicians: empowerment, career advancement, and a supportive, collaborative work environment. Our team champions your development through ongoing education, access to clinical resources, and opportunities to specialize in areas that align with your interests and patient populations. Whether you’re seeking mentorship during early career steps or looking to refine expertise in advanced therapeutic techniques, you’ll find a culture that promotes curiosity, evidence-informed practice, and mutual respect. We understand the demands of travel therapy and are committed to removing barriers so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes while enjoying professional autonomy and meaningful work-life balance.

If you’re ready to contribute to patient-centered outcomes in a beautiful, culturally rich region and to broaden your professional footprint across the country, apply now. This is your chance to join a company that values your clinical voice, supports your growth, and stands beside you every step of the way as you advance in the physical therapy field. Discover how your expertise can shape healing journeys, empower families, and elevate the standard of care in communities that deserve your best.

Note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
