Sr. Experiential Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities Experiential Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the development of the annual experiential marketing roadmap across national and regional markets.
- Oversee the planning and execution of activations aligned with product launches, retail campaigns, and cultural moments.
- Manage and mentor two Regional Marketing Managers, providing strategic direction, creative oversight, and career development.
- Partner with senior leadership to align experiential efforts with broader brand, marketing, and growth goals.
- Concept high-impact, buzz-worthy activations—from immersive pop-ups to guerrilla stunts—that generate conversation, trial, and earned media.
- Ensure creative alignment across all touchpoints by collaborating closely with brand, PR, influencer, and content teams.
- Identify and capitalize on cultural trends, seasonal moments, and hyper-local opportunities to amplify relevance.
- Oversee end-to-end execution of national and regional activations, ensuring consistency in quality, brand voice, and customer experience.
- Manage budgets, contracts, timelines, and third-party partners across multiple activations simultaneously.
- Lead vendor and production partner selection; oversee permitting, logistics, staffing, and compliance.
- Travel to major events as the on-site lead to oversee execution and troubleshoot in real time.
- Partner with social and content teams to capture and repurpose activations for paid and organic campaigns.
- Work with PR to drive earned media and influencer engagement through experiential moments.
- Align with the retail team to ensure activations drive conversion and support wholesale relationships.
- Leverage activations as community-building tools, integrating customer feedback and brand advocacy.
- Establish KPIs for experiential programs; analyze and report on ROI, engagement, foot traffic, and media value.
- Continuously optimize processes, vendor relationships, and creative approaches for future activations.
- 7+ years of experience in experiential marketing, live events, or brand activations, with increasing levels of responsibility
- Proven track record leading both large-scale and regional activations, from ideation through execution
- Experience managing direct reports, providing clear feedback, coaching, and performance oversight
- Skilled in creative development, event production, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand storytelling and consumer engagement
- Highly organized, budget-conscious, and comfortable managing multiple projects with overlapping timelines
- Passion for culture, trends, and building meaningful brand experiences
- Willingness to travel as needed to support activations and team development
