Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,170–$1,200 per week

Travel COTA Job Details – Fitchburg, MA

• Location: Fitchburg, MA 01420 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Hospital (inpatient rehabilitation)
• Employment Type: Travel occupational therapy job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (August 5, 2025 – November 4, 2025)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
• Typical Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• On-Call: No call required

COTA Qualifications & Requirements

• Active and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a COTA preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Rehabilitation Therapy certification required
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or hospital rehab experience preferred
• Completion of COVID test within 72 hours prior to start date; results available 48 hours prior
• Completion of 8 hours of Dementia Training
• Ability to provide all required credentialing documents (license verification, resume, references, background checks, etc.)

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and clinical support services to patients in a hospital setting
• Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence and improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Document patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards
