Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Designer with 0-2 years of experience within an MEP firm. This role requires proficiency in Revit and involves a significant production workload to support mid and senior level Electrical Engineers. The position focuses on Revit design, load calculations, low voltage systems, power distribution, and alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist mid and senior level Electrical Engineers with production tasks.

• Utilize Revit software for design and drafting.

• Perform load calculations for electrical systems.

• Design and implement low voltage and power distribution systems.

• Incorporate alarm systems into electrical designs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit.

• Understanding of electrical engineering principles.

• Experience in building design and electrical building engineering.

• Ability to perform load calculations.

• Knowledge of low voltage and power distribution systems.

• Familiarity with alarm systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Co-op or internship experience at an MEP firm is a plus.

• FE/EIT track is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to be in the office from Tuesday to Thursday. Employees will work on pharmaceutical projects and benefit from a 12-month contract-to-hire arrangement with vacation and holiday benefits. The role offers a vigorous onboarding and training program to ensure successful integration into the team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Medford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
