CPA – Senior Technical Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to lead research, analysis, and documentation of complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, purchase accounting, lease accounting, and impairment analysis. This role ensures compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements while working cross-functionally with internal teams, external auditors, and valuation professionals.

- Attractive compensation – earn between $95,000 - $115,000 per year with potential bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, assess, and document technical accounting matters (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting, and impairment analyses)
- Analyze new accounting standards and assist with SEC filings and SOX 404 compliance
- Evaluate and document property transactions and business combinations under purchase accounting
- Provide technical accounting guidance to senior leadership and collaborate with external auditors
- Support internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in technical accounting, preferably at a Big 4 or large national CPA firm
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
- Experience with public company financial reporting and accounting research
Required Skills:
- CPA certification (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, data analysis)
- Strong business writing and technical documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, Oracle, SAP)
- Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards
- Ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders
