Job Overview

Metrocast Cable Systems is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the hybrid role of Data Analyst & AI Engineering. Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and organise large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models and AI algorithms.
- Support the training, testing, and evaluation of AI systems to ensure they meet performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate AI-powered solutions into our services.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly articulate analytical results and recommendations.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and advancements in data analytics and artificial intelligence.

Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a data analysis role, with a strong understanding of statistical principles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, including experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and foundational AI frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Experience with data visualisation software such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for data-driven innovation.
