RN - Emergency Room - RNMD#01

Position Title: RN – Emergency Room

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Options: Day, Evening, or Night Shift

Pay Range: $50 – $55/hour

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process, ensuring accurate and current patient records.

• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications.

• Direct, guide, and educate ancillary staff while upholding hospital standards.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, and social dimensions.

• Initiate and implement individualized care plans, communicating key data to allied care providers.

• Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities and computerized nursing informatics.

• Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff development.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit staff meetings.

• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and blood/body fluid protocols.

• Maintain confidentiality and consistently deliver excellent customer service.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current Massachusetts RN license.

• Minimum 1 year of recent ER RN experience; travel ER experience preferred.

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Successful completion of Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams.

• Proficiency in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring.

• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

• Preferred Certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, and de-escalation training.
