Position Summary:

Welch's is seeking a strategic, insight-driven Brand Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of new product platforms as part of our Transformational Growth Innovation Team. This role is responsible for identifying white space opportunities grounded in our demand landscape and consumer segmentation, building innovation strategies that extend the Welch's brand into new categories, and launching breakthrough products from idea to shelf. With full P&L ownership and cross-functional leadership responsibility, this individual will be a key driver of enterprise-level growth. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in brand management and a passion for innovation, with a proven track record of launching new products that win with consumers and customers.

Where You'll Work:

This role will be based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in-office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and lead consumer-first innovation strategies by translating demand space and segmentation insights into robust business cases for new platforms aligned with Welch's growth goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners through the end-to-end innovation process, from concept through commercialization, ensuring desirability, viability, and feasibility.
  • Own project timelines and workflows to keep innovation projects on track from development through launch.
  • Build and own the P&L for new product platforms, driving strategic plans that deliver incremental growth.
  • Guide testing and learning plans to iterate and refine product concepts in-market.
  • Represent Transformational Growth in enterprise processes, contributing to the build-borrow-buy growth model.
  • Coach and manage direct report(s) while fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.

  • Analytical and insight-led, using data to guide decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic vision with executional excellence, from big-picture thinking to detail orientation.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, innovation, or marketing (preferably within the food and beverage and CPG industry).
  • Proven track record of launching new products from concept through commercialization, including ownership of consumer testing, business case development, and market execution.
  • Experience managing P&L, leading cross-functional teams, and directly managing people, including coaching and performance development
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Comfort in agile environments with test-and-learn approaches to innovation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $145,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
