Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Days, Evenings, and Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips Description: This position is for a telemetry registered nurse. The role involves working in a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit. The clinician-patient ratio is 4 to 5 patients per 1 RN. The patient population consists of adult medical patients. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Floating to other areas may be required. Rotating shifts are required to cover open night shifts. Day rotating positions may require a couple of shifts per month. Candidates must be able to read telemetry strips.
