Commercial Paint Sales Representative
The Paint Sales Representative will build and maintain relationships with paint contractors, property managers, and industry stakeholders to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction. They will develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and provide expert product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the right coatings. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Outside Paint Sales Representative to help grow our commercial sales team.
Travel is required.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
- Build strong relationships with contractors, property managers, and industry partners
- Network through business events and industry gatherings
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed goals
- Provide expert product knowledge and technical support
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Stay informed on product and market trends
- Collaborate with retail teams to enhance the professional paint experience
- Use sales tools to manage interactions and improve efficiency
- Travel extensively within your territory to meet customers and drive growth
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years in sales (paint/coatings or B2B experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of paint products and application techniques.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel extensively (70%-80%) within your assigned region.
- Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

- Pay starts $65,000 annual salary plus commissions (base rate may increase with experience)
