Boston Speech Therapy is looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with a diverse population, providing high-quality speech and language services to enhance communication skills. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with various speech and language disorders.
This position offers a flexible work schedule with competitive pay ranging from $80 to $85 per hour, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth and collaboration with experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
- Provide direct therapy services to improve communication and swallow functions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, healthcare professionals, and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all patients.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with a variety of age groups and communication disorders
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with technology and software used in speech-language therapy
