The Marketing & Business Development Associate plays a key role in driving company growth through a blend of creative marketing initiatives and strategic client engagement. This role is responsible for developing and executing engaging content, managing social media presence, and supporting outreach efforts that strengthen brand visibility and attract new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing both marketing and business development responsibilities. They bring a strong eye for content, messaging, and audience engagement, while also supporting relationship-building efforts and maintaining consistent follow-up within the sales process.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Bring a strong sense of creativity and storytelling to how we present our work, services, and brand
- Continuously explore new ideas to improve visibility, engagement, and overall marketing impact
- Execute the company’s social media and digital marketing strategy across platforms

Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify and research potential clients, industries, and opportunities
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and marketing-driven initiatives
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and opportunities
- Partner marketing efforts with business development strategy to attract and convert interest into opportunities
Relationship Building & Client Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and clients
- Nurture relationships with both new and existing customers to support long-term partnerships
- Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the customer journey
Sales Support, Presentations & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of activity, leads, and client interactions in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Track and manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent follow-up and visibility into opportunities
- Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand needs and present solutions
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that clearly communicate value

Reporting, Insights & Market Awareness
- Monitor trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth
- Provide regular updates on marketing performance, outreach activity, and pipeline progress
- Use insights to refine both marketing and business development strategies
Negotiation & Opportunity Closing
- Support pricing discussions and negotiate terms that align with both client needs and company goals
- Help guide opportunities through to close and ensure a smooth transition to internal teams
- Contribute to securing new business and expanding existing accounts
Customer Experience & Retention
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through responsiveness and thoughtful communication
- Support post-sale engagement to encourage repeat business and long-term relationships
- Act as a champion for the client experience within the company
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, marketing, or client-facing roles
- Strong creative mindset with experience in content creation or social media management
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar systems)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to contribute to company growth
