Services Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Services Engineer to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering technical services, implementation support, system optimization, and post-deployment assistance for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure reliable service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Services & Support
Deliver remote technical services including system configuration, deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex service issues and incidents.
Diagnose system, application, and infrastructure issues and implement timely resolutions.
Ensure systems meet performance, availability, and security standards.
Implementation & Integration
Support customer onboarding by assisting with system implementations and integrations.
Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and align solutions accordingly.
Validate deployments through testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Collaboration & Communication**
Partner with internal teams to resolve service-related challenges and improve product reliability.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Provide regular updates to customers and internal teams regarding service status and resolutions.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to preventive solutions.
Required Qualifications
Must reside in the United States with a valid working ID and authorization to work.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in a Services Engineer, Systems Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
Strong understanding of systems, networks, APIs, and cloud-based environments.
Experience troubleshooting production environments and customer-facing systems.
Proficiency with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and documentation platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in fully remote or distributed teams.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, or scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of ITIL, SRE, or service delivery best practices.
Customer-facing experience in a SaaS or technology services environment.
