Director, Solutions Engineering & Services

.In this highly visible position the **Director, Solutions****Engineering****& Services** will lead the Solutions Management, and Professional Services & Solutions Development teams. You will be responsible for Americas region roadmap prioritization & market feedback, professional services delivery, and ongoing technical knowledge transfer in the region. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Business Development, Solutions & Services leadership to drive the Americas strategy for launch initiatives in Americas, Axis HQ in Sweden, and 2N HQ in Prague. You will also be responsible for developing and generating business strategies and providing input, management and guidance for strategic solutions and programs.The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, innovative and passionate about what Axis has to offer. Applicants should have experience influencing and managing a team of diverse individuals across departments and geographies. If you have a history of problem-solving, innovative ideas and calculated risk-taking, we would love to hear from you. **This is an international role and up to 50% travel within the region and to Sweden & Prague will be considered a natural part of the job. The selected individual must be based out of, or be willing to relocate to, our Chelmsford, MA office. This position reports to the Director of Business Development & Services.** **Director, Solutions****Engineering****& Services:**Serve as liaison towards Americas Area Technical teams and support the ongoing technology knowledge transfer to sales organizationInfluencing and persuasion skills Proven experience in setting priorities in response to changes in market or strategy Superb networking and interpersonal skills Solid public speaking ability 15+ years experience in information technology, physical security industry or related fieldExperience leading technical teams and history of balancing technical excellence and business prioritiesExperience managing highly skilled and experienced professionalsThe approximate pay range for this role is **$230,000 - $250,000 OTE** **on a 80/20 split**.
