Machine Operator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our growing production team. This role is perfect for someone with a foundational background in manufacturing who is looking to sharpen their technical skills. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery while ensuring every part produced meets our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• Equipment Operation: Safely set up and operate production machinery according to project specifications.
• Quality Control: Perform regular part inspections to ensure output meets blueprints and customer requirements.
• Technical Math: Perform basic calculations to adjust machine settings and verify dimensions.
• Maintenance: Keep equipment clean and perform routine checks to maintain proper operating standards.
• Reporting: Document production numbers and communicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
• Lean Participation: Contribute to 6S and Lean manufacturing initiatives to help create a more efficient workspace.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required .
• Mathematical Proficiency: Strong basic math skills are essential for successful machine setup and part verification.
• Precision Tools: Previous experience using calipers and micrometers is a major plus.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents and work instructions.
• Work Ethic: A self-starter with excellent time management skills and a commitment to shop safety.
• Physicality: Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of a shop floor environment.
