Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary, execution-focused senior leader to establish and lead an Emerging Technology team centered on advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities and delivering innovative, business-driven solutions. This newly created role will build the foundation for enterprise AI strategy, talent development, and scalable implementation across the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and industry insight to embed AI into core business operations while ensuring governance, security, and regulatory alignment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise AI organization aligned with business strategy and technology vision

  • Build and scale AI capabilities including predictive analytics, generative AI, and agent-based systems

  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact AI use cases across business functions

  • Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, and technology teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions

  • Serve as a thought leader and champion responsible AI adoption and innovation

  • Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI, transparency, and risk management

  • Embed AI into core business processes and decision-making models

  • Manage vendor partnerships, open-source initiatives, and external collaborations

  • Monitor emerging AI trends and assess business applicability

  • Develop and manage AI maturity roadmaps, KPIs, and performance metrics

  • Lead cross-functional teams delivering AI products and platforms

  • Ensure regulatory, privacy, and security compliance in all AI initiatives

  • Represent the organization in industry forums and external partnerships

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation

  • Collaborate with business teams to enhance operations through AI-driven solutions

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing engineering or technology teams

  • Proven success developing and executing enterprise-level AI strategies in regulated environments

  • Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, generative AI, and model lifecycle management

  • Experience integrating AI within large-scale business and technology architectures

  • Knowledge of data privacy, ethical AI, and regulatory compliance frameworks

  • Ability to translate business needs into high-value AI solutions

  • Experience managing technology vendors, platforms, and partnerships

  • Strong change-management and team-development capabilities

  • Excellent executive communication, influence, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Industry experience in complex regulated sectors preferred
