Salary: $66,500-$89,600 annually

Gale Associates, Inc., is seeking a Staff Designer to join our Structural Group located in our Rockland, MA office. Our team of structural engineers develops repairs and renovations for existing buildings as well and performs the design of new structures. We work closely with Gales building enclosure, civil, and aviation groups, as well as team with other consultants to form collaborative project teams. Key Responsibilities:

• The selected candidate will join our Structural Engineering Group to perform field evaluations, structural engineering calculations, construction observation, submittal review and CAD drafting and/or Revit Modeling. Attendance at project meetings, and written work such as preparation of meeting minutes and evaluation letters/reports are also part of the key responsibilities for this role. Work will be under the supervision and guidance of licensed structural engineers.

Requirements:

• ABET accredited Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and experience with Structural Engineering as a Co-op or in the construction trades.
• Must have scheduled and/or passed FE exam.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer capabilities (MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Structural Analysis Softwares) are required.
