Experiential Events Operator
Resource Innovations is seeking an Experiential Events Operator to join our growing team in Worcester, MA. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experiential Events Operator with a strong background in transportation, event setup, and customer-facing onsite engagement to join our dynamic team. As an Experiential Events Operator, you will support our event operations by transporting, setting up, and managing residential appliances, HVAC, and battery storage equipment at various event locations. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to represent our client with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow vehicle and trailer to transport mobile lab to event locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and trailers.
- Manage setup and breakdown of mobile lab equipment at events.
- Coordinate with event teams to ensure timely delivery and proper placement of the lab.
- Represent the client professionally and positively at all events.
- Share product or program information with event attendees in an engaging manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with proven experience towing large trailers or heavy loads.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical coursework in Electrical Technology, Renewable Energy Systems, HVAC, Energy Efficiency, Event Management, or Logistics preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with event setup processes and handling fragile equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting vehicle/trailer issues.
- Customer service mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail and time management under tight deadlines.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
- Professional appearance and ability to engage positively with clients and event attendees.
Preferred skills, education and experience
- DOT Compliance, Defensive Driving, Event Management, and Electrical Safety certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with energy-efficient technologies and electrification equipment preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $60k - 75k. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes three weeks of paid vacation per year; paid holidays; a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching; health, dental and vision insurance; and other supplemental benefits.
Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check. If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.
