Studio Manager
UPPERKUTS BOXING CLUB is seeking an experienced and dynamic Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations of our boxing facility. The Studio Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the club, fostering a positive environment for members, trainers, and staff alike. This leadership position involves managing staff schedules, coordinating classes, maintaining facility standards, and implementing club policies to deliver an exceptional experience to every member. The Studio Manager will also be responsible for driving member engagement, supporting sales and membership teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of multitasking effectively and inspiring a motivated and cohesive team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the club to ensure a high standard of service and facility maintenance.
- Manage and schedule staff, including trainers, front desk representatives, and support personnel.
- Coordinate class schedules and ensure adequate staffing to meet member needs.
- Develop and enforce club policies and procedures in alignment with company standards.
- Handle member relations and resolve escalated issues promptly and professionally.
- Support membership sales and engagement initiatives in collaboration with sales and membership teams.
- Monitor facility safety and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare operational reports, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation to improve overall efficiency.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to promote a positive team culture and continuous professional development.
- Assist with marketing efforts and special events to drive member retention and growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fitness or sports facility management, preferably in a boxing or martial arts environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse staff.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with members, staff, and management.
- Knowledge of membership management software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications.
- Understanding of health and safety standards in a fitness facility context.
- Proactive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
