Responsibilities
- Assist audiologists with hearing tests and assessments.
- Prepare and maintain audiology equipment and patient testing areas.
- Perform hearing screenings under the supervision of an audiologist.
- Fit and maintain hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Educate patients on proper use and care of hearing aids.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Audiology Technology or related field (preferred).
- Certification: Audiology Technician certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an audiology support role.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of audiology equipment, excellent patient communication, and attention to detail.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments to various healthcare facilities.
