**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter undesirable activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail or mall environment.
+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
+ Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and location staff to address security-related needs and concerns.
+ Assist customers, visitors, and tenants with questions, directions, or other support as required.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
