R&D Technician II

Akkodis is seeking a R&D Technician II for a Contract with a client in Marlborough, MA. You will test prototypes per engineering instructions and document results, while supporting calibration and maintenance programs for R&D equipment.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $32/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

R&D Technician II job responsibilities include:

• Assemble prototypes and products according to design plans and engineering specifications.

• Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions for process and design issues during development.

• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and accurately document test results for analysis.

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to obtain necessary supplies and services for prototype builds.

• Perform basic statistical analysis on test results to support engineering decisions.

• Train team members on new product processes and procedures and assist with calibration and maintenance programs for R&D test equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree (AA) in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in prototype assembly, testing, or related technical work.

• Ability to assemble prototypes and perform troubleshooting on design and process issues.

• Experience in testing prototypes per engineering instructions and documenting results accurately.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
