Your day to day
Are you passionate about leveraging modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices to make a meaningful impact on healthcare and patient outcomes?
This is a unique, multi-year, project-based opportunity to architect and operationalize clinical data registry platforms on Azure, collaborating with a dedicated team of engineers and business partners. As an Azure DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer, your technical leadership will help ensure healthcare data is managed securely, reliably, and in compliance with best practices—directly supporting improved healthcare outcomes.
You’ll be working within an operations environment, supporting product teams and collaborating across disciplines to deliver innovative cloud solutions. Our DevOps engineers:
- Have a pragmatic, product-focused mentality to ensure our cloud solutions consistently deliver value and meet compliance requirements
- Are comfortable automating, integrating, and optimizing environments across Azure, driving secure and reliable deployments
- Take pride in upskilling teammates and promoting best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years working industry experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
- Experience architecting and managing Azure environments for web and data platforms (e.g., Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Front Door, CosmosDB)
- Proven hands-on experience developing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Azure Bicep (ARM, Terraform also considered)
- Deep understanding of security best practices in Azure, including configuring policies, monitoring, and resolving issues in Azure Defender for Cloud
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions (YAML-based)
- Solid experience integrating and automating with version control (Git) and cloud resource management
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience operationalizing and managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments
- Working knowledge of data platform operations—Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, or equivalent
- Experience creating secure, efficient networking and identity solutions in Azure (Private Endpoints, VNET, NSG, Entra, RBAC)
- Scripting and automation experience
- Ability to mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of cloud and DevOps excellence
Additional information
Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site

In compliance with Colorado’s, New York & Massachusetts's Equal Pay Transparency Act, PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the State of Massachusetts and is commensurate with experience, market data, applicant skills, internal equity and/or degrees/certifications. Salary Range: Low: $ 130,000 - High: $150,000.
