Our staff are dynamic, mission-driven professionals who foster community, inclusion, and belonging to advance every aspect of the college enterprise. Our community thrives on collaboration, bold ideas, and interdisciplinary exploration. Join us in supporting the pursuit of knowledge that changes the world and provides boundless opportunities to inspire the next generation of leaders. We offer generous benefits, including health, dental, and life insurance, tuition remission, retirement savings, paid time off, and holiday leave. The Institute for Economic Development is a research center within the Department of Economics focused on issues like development economics, international economics, and political economy. It provides research and career support to economics graduate students. The IED coordinator works closely with the IED manager and faculty director in support of the center, as well as the department. This includes supporting various events and opportunities, processing reimbursements, managing internal grant applications, and providing administrative support for faculty members. Furthermore, the IED coordinator serves as the department's primary marketing and communications administrator, who creates, maintains, and updates departmental media, such as websites, social media accounts, and newsletters. This position engages often with other staff coordinators, graduate students, faculty members, visitors, and distinguished guests, as well as with alumni and potential donors.
