Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: RN Emergency Room Specialty: RN Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years Emergency Nursing experience License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA Certified BLS, ACLS, & PALS; NRP & TNCC certifications strongly preferred Must-Have: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: - Assessment - Documentation - IV - Phlebotomy - EKG - Cardiac Monitoring - Point of care testing - Splinting - Critical thinking - Patient education Description: Emergency Department RN position available for night shifts. The unit consists of a 65-bed emergency department. It has a pod-based layout with a separate pediatric pod and a separate acute mental health area. The clinician to patient ratio is 1:4. The patient population includes all ages. The department experiences an average census of 230 visits per day. Charting is done using an electronic medical record system. Floating to other units is required. Rotating shifts may be requested, but the night position does not rotate. About Cynet Health
