Business Office Manager
Hancock Park Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Business Office Manager to support the day-to-day financial and front office operations of our facility. We are a skilled nursing center providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Summary
The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing resident accounts, financial processes, and front desk operations . This role works closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure accurate billing, strong customer service, and smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage resident accounts, including personal needs allowance (PNA) funds
- Process deposits, bank reconciliations, and check requests
- Support accounts receivable and billing functions
- Oversee reception staff and front desk operations
- Communicate with residents and families regarding billing and account questions
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Order and manage office supplies as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in accounts receivable, billing, office management, or financial operations
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing financial transactions and reconciliations
- Experience supervising staff or coordinating office operations is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
