Product Manager

Our client, a software company in Boston, is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and launch of customer-facing products. This role involves defining product vision, prioritizing features, and working with engineering and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. The position reports to the VP of Product and collaborates with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and customer success.

The ideal candidate has experience managing B2B SaaS products and a strong ability to balance customer needs with business objectives. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week on-site at their Back Bay office.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research and customer feedback
• Prioritize features and manage the product backlog in collaboration with engineering
• Write product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Partner with design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality product releases
• Analyze product metrics and user data to inform decision-making
• Conduct competitive analysis and stay current with industry trends
• Gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Present product updates and roadmap to internal stakeholders and leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in product management
• Experience with B2B SaaS products preferred
• Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Productboard, or Aha
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
