Landscape Installation Technician, Installation Division, Parterre Garden Services, Inc.

Parterre Garden Services , one of Greater Boston’s Leading Horticultural Services and Fine Gardening companies, is searching for an eager individual to join our growing Installation Division. Parterre Garden Services engages in fine gardening services, property and landscape management, custom landscape design, and large-scale landscape installation. At our core are passionate horticulturists and problem solvers who are dedicated to providing expert gardening and construction services throughout the greater Boston Area. We are currently looking for an experienced laborer, interested in learning the horticulture business, and helping us to innovate and improve all aspects of the Installation Division at Parterre Garden Services.

As a Landscape Installation Technician for Parterre’s Installation Division, you must be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in any weather, while maintaining our established high standards of quality and professionalism. The Landscape Installer will report directly to the Installation Manager and work closely with the Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• Tough physical-demanding work building beautiful gardens
• Prioritizing tasks assigned to you, and improving construction site workflow
• Professional attitude towards fellow employees, superiors, and clients

Require ments

• Construction, or other relevant related experience required
• Strong background in horticulture, design experience a plus
• High level of demonstrable organization and interpersonal skills
• Heavy machinery experience a plus, not required
• Love of the outdoors, gardens, trees, and plants
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• 2-3 years of experience in the green industry a plus
• Strong work ethic, demonstrable ability in prioritization
• Current MA driver’s license
• Use of own vehicle to direct report to site

This is a full-time, seasonal position (March-December). Parterre Garden Services offers a highly professional and committed work environment that includes competitive pay, benefits, training program, and educational reimbursement.

Parterre’s Installation Division is one of the fastest growing divisions at our company, with 90-100 projects annually, ranging from small property enhancements to new property construction, and construction management.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
