Software Engineer Professional (Pembroke, MA)
- May Telecommute
- Use programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software code
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics
- Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
- Apply knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
SCHEDULE: 40 hrs./week
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related, or any foreign equivalencies
Prior experience must include:
- 2 years software development experience, using .NET, SSIS, SSRS, C#, SQL.
- 2 yrs exp w/database programming, SQL Server and T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- 2 yrs exp w/developing and maintaining SSIS/SSRS projects.
- 2 yrs exp w/performance tuning techniques such as query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and database normalization.
- 2 yrs exp w/structured SLDC, using Agile methodologies
- 2 yrs exp w/C# development, Core 3.1 and .NET 5+
- 2 yrs exp w/SOAP and REST Web Services, IIS, WCF, JSON
