We are looking for a skilled Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Walpole, Massachusetts. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with at least two years of experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys and clients. The role involves supporting estate planning and administration processes while ensuring precision and high standards.
Responsibilities:• Draft and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare proxies.
• Manage all tasks related to probate and estate administration, from initiation to closure.
• Prepare and submit probate court filings and supporting materials with accuracy.
• Coordinate asset transfers and assist with the funding of trusts and estates.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files for estate planning and probate matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, financial institutions, and court representatives.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure adherence to court and internal procedural requirements.
• Offer administrative and paralegal assistance to attorneys as needed.• At least 2 years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Massachusetts probate and estate administration processes.
• Strong skills in drafting legal documents and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet various deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on client service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
