Position Overview The Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager at Zelis leads cross-functional BI initiatives that enable smarter, data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. This role oversees project delivery, defines data requirements, manages offshore resources, and develops scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks. The position also drives adoption of AI-powered tools and analytic automation to improve efficiency and support clients and internal teams. Additionally, this role partners closely with Revenue, Sales, Finance, and Operations to deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and portfolio insights. Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end BI and analytics projects, including scoping, prioritization, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Translate business needs into clear data requirements and technical specifications for reporting, dashboards, and data models.
- Manage and coordinate offshore BI developers and analysts to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery.
- Oversee the creation and optimization of analytical data models, semantic layers, and supporting data architecture.
- Build intuitive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI that support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making.
- Define, maintain, and standardize KPIs, metric definitions, and reporting frameworks across teams.
- Drive reporting and analytics for revenue performance, Salesforce pipeline metrics, forecasting accuracy, and financial planning insights.
- Partner with Sales and Finance to support CRM (Salesforce) reporting, revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and pipeline health analysis.
- Develop and enhance reporting models using financial systems such as Adaptive Insights (Adaptive Planning) or similar FP&A tools.
- Automate manual reporting processes and establish consistent reporting cadences for business stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, documentation, and compliance with healthcare data standards (HIPAA/PHI).
- Partner with the Director of Analytics/AI to drive adoption of AI-powered tools and intelligent automation across workflows.
- Communicate insights, risks, and trends effectively to leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years' experience in similar role
- Advanced SQL proficiency, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries on large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, including pipeline reporting, lead/opportunity analytics, and CRM data modeling.
- Expertise in Tableau or Power BI, including dashboard design, visualization best practices, and data storytelling.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional models, and analytic architecture.
- Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and collaborating with Data Engineering teams.
- Proven ability to manage offshore teams and coordinate multi–time-zone delivery.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and data presentation skills.
- Experience driving reporting automation, metric standardization, and governance.
- Experience with financial planning tools such as Adaptive Insights (Adaptive Planning), Anaplan, or similar FP&A applications.
- Exposure to AI tools and analytics automation is a plus.

Base Salary Range $127,000.00 - $160,550.00 At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
