Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel opportunity seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support 3rd-grade students in Stoneham, MA. The role requires expertise in special education within an elementary school setting and involves working full-time hours during the school week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of 3rd-grade students with special education requirements
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and local education regulations
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and participation

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Special Education or related field is required
• Valid Massachusetts Educator Certification for Elementary Special Education, specifically for 3rd grade
• Proven experience working within schools, preferably in special education roles
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a travel assignment and new environments

Position Details:

• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Location: Stoneham, MA (travel assignment)
