Kronos is looking for a Sr. Interaction Designer with prior experience in defining the interaction model and user interface of web based applications. Demonstrated ability to design efficient user workflows, while optimizing visual impact is required. Past experience at driving usability studies to confirm the validity and market acceptance of the user experience is necessary. The ideal candidate will need to both demonstrate success at project level user interface design as well as the ability to directly contribute to the definition of UI infrastructure. The candidate needs to be proficient in standard modern user interface infrastructure technologies, including UI frameworks, component libraries, rich web client technologies as well as prototyping tools. The candidate will collaborate with functional leaders across engineering to define UI guidelines and best practices for the definition of a world-class user interface which is able to both "wow" novices and experts and demonstrate innovation.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• BSCS or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience as an interaction designer, with strong experience in some or all of the following disciplines:
• User interface design & development for both rich client and thin client web environments.
• Planning and execution of usability studies
• Web product user interface design & visual language definition
• UI Infrastructure definition
• Third party UI tool and framework evaluations and usage
• Excellent written and verbal skills, including the delivery of training on tools and design practices to engineering audiences.
• Experience with Agile methodologies preferred
• Past experience in the human capital management industry a plus

Candidates invited for an interview will be asked to show sample web-based HTML screen designs from previous work.
