Medical Assistant | Per Diem

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Cambridge, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Cambridge, MA

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks - likelihood of extension

Schedule:

• Per diem – will pick up shifts. Has availability to pick up close to 40 hours per week. Minimum of two shifts per week required.
• Monday – Friday
• 8a-5p
• Must be able to attend full orientation week:

o Orientations are Tuesday - Friday at Commerce Way Training Center, 350 Main St. 4th Floor, Malden, MA 02148. Tuesday is 730a-430p, Wed is 730a-430p, Thurs is 1230p-430p, and Friday is 8a-430p

Contract Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant. National certification not required.
• Must be able to draw blood and take vital signs
• BLS by start date
• Local candidates with a reliable commute strongly preferred
• Flu required by start dates 9/1-3/31

o Religious or medical exemptions possible

• Covid vaccine not required – declination accepted

Pay:

• $29/hr

Parking: Small application fee ($10-15) upon first day on-site
