Schedule: 40 Hours, Days/Evenings, Weekends Required, Full Time, Benefit Eligible

Job Summary: The Multi Modality Technologist will perform imaging procedures while adhering to established guidelines and assisting in the training of new technologists. The Technologist will work under the supervision of the Modality Supervisory Technologist and Modality Medical Director. The Multi Modality Technologist will:

• Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiological Policy Manual.
• Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff.
• Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/improvement activities.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification.
• Qualifications as described by modality below. Note: Multi Modality Technologists must work as needed in two (2) or more of the modalities below:
• Computed Tomography Technologist: Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license, and/or Nuclear Medicine license, and/or Radiation Therapy license, or ability to obtain registered certification by start date; and Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography Computed Tomography license or ability to obtain registered certification by start date; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation and Computed Tomography with RT(CT) designation or eligible for ARRT certification; and/or Current NMTCB registered certification in Nuclear Medicine with CNMT designation.
• Radiography Technologist: Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license or ability to obtain registered certification by start date; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation or eligible for ARRT certification. For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.
