Overview

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency/acute care setting for mixed acuity patients, including stabilization and ongoing monitoring.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, interpret findings, and respond rapidly to clinical changes; initiate appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, assist with procedures, manage airway/ventilation, and support resuscitation efforts as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for behavioral health and boarding patients, ensuring patient safety and timely disposition.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members about care plans and next steps.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience, post-orientation.
- Advanced Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-acuity environment and manage complex and unstable patients.
- Willingness to work 3x12 night shifts; flexibility to adapt to the unit’s pace and patient needs.
- On onboarding, provide documentation including an agency Massachusetts staffing license and upload of professional liability insurance to MYCOI.
- Location restriction: must be outside a 90-mile radius from the facility.
