• Patient Demographics: Culturally diverse population with focus on adult and geriatric patients.
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Internal medicine and geriatrics; routine and emergency treatment.

FACILITY INFORMATION:

• Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient equipment.
• Specialty Backup Available: Referral network.
• Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary care teams.
• Reason for Coverage: Ongoing staffing need.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Rate: $200,000.00 to $230,000.00

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Geriatric and internal medicine evaluations and treatment.
• Preventive and chronic care for older adults.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active Massachusetts medical license.
• Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
• Experience: Residency completion in good standing.

Other Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to travel between sites as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and elderly patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement and utilization review efforts.
• Teach and mentor medical trainees.
• Represent the health center within the community and external bodies.
• Serve on relevant committees as needed.
• Engage in continued medical education and development.
• Promote system-wide healthcare improvement initiatives.
