About This Role:
The Research Associate is part of Forrester's Consumer and Digital Services research organization and works with a team of analysts to equip CX, B2C, and digital leaders and business professionals in evolving their initiatives and strategy through primary research, technology and business analysis, actionable reports, and client advisory. Clients work with Forrester to inform and accelerate their strategic decisions, understand software market trends, and compare their strategy with industry best practices.
The Research Associate plays a key role supporting the team's analysts to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and client advisory materials. The successful candidate will report to a research operations manager and will support four analysts.
Job Description:

Manage research projects by working with assigned analysts, formulating a project plan, establishing a check-in process, coordinating research, and managing schedule.

Communicate effectively, regularly, and clearly with analysts, team members, and clients. Manage multiple workflows and timelines.

Assist analysts with primary and secondary research for published reports, including qualitative interviews, online surveys, quantitative analysis, and internal and third-party data.

Support analyst presentations with well-formatted charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful titles, and a slide sequence that tells a story.

Maintain the report production schedule, from inception through publication.

Conduct quantitative work with Forrester's datasets.

Assist in collecting and analyzing team performance metrics through data dashboards.

Leverage the use of internal AI tools to increase productivity and support analysts.
Job Requirements:

A BA/BS degree with a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply; any quantitative or statistics interest is a major plus.

One to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.

A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Interest in consumer marketing or industry-specific knowledge of retail, financial services, or healthcare is a plus.

The ability to write precisely, logically, and professionally.

Attention to detail and the ability to build reusable resources such as survey questions and formatted data outputs.

Willingness to actively engage intellectually with colleagues, including more senior colleagues such as analysts.

Enthusiasm to learn about technology and its impact on business and society.

The ability to multitask and work independently with a team under tight deadlines.
Please note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate's primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials.
Base salary range: $53,000 - $87,000
