Pay: $19.20 / hr

Work Schedule: Your specific weekly schedule will be determined at the time of hire. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with one required weekend day. You will have two days off each week, with one weekend day included. Shift: Overnight, 12 AM to 5 AM

About the Role

The Sanitation Team Member plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food‐safe production environment. This position is responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and work areas to meet established food safety and quality standards. You’ll work as part of a team to ensure our facility is always inspection‐ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and production areas using water, chemicals, and sanitizers according to food safety standards.
• Disassemble machinery for detailed cleaning; reassemble parts after sanitation is complete.
• Use hand tools, scrub pads, and other cleaning equipment to clean surfaces, floors, walls, drains, and machinery.
• Perform a variety of sanitation tasks, including:
• • Trash removal and operation of trash compactor
  • Sweeping and squeegeeing floors
  • Removing product debris and disposing of waste properly
  • Rinsing and foaming equipment
  • Scrubbing and detailing machinery
  • Using compliant air guns to remove product buildup
  • Participating in pre‐operational inspections
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant food production environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, chemical labels, and safety data sheets. Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Attendance: Must be reliable and able to work scheduled hours, including additional hours when required.

Physical Requirements:

• • Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl throughout the shift.
  • Ability to use hands for cleaning tasks and equipment handling.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • The production facility and associated warehousing are refrigerated facilities, which means this position must be able to work in a cold, wet, and loud environment for long periods of time with the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
